Job Overview

$15.00/hr for Entry Level. 2nd & 3rd shifts. Part-Time.

Full-Time positions available with at least one year of prior experience.

Salary commensurate with experience.

  • Monitor & report clients’ behavior to the Director of Supervision and Shift Supervisor
  • Administer urinalysis
  • Comply with all DOC/ACA regulations
  • Computer, written, and verbal skills are all required

Self Help Movement is a drug and alcohol treatment facility located in the Far Northeast section of Philadelphia. We are an all-male inpatient program, 17 years of age and older, consisting of three levels of treatment.
We currently have an opening for a Building Maintenance Assistant! This is an opportunity to work in an environment of compassion, understanding, and respect providing the service that is instrumental in the recovery process of our clientele. Job Overview

• Perform routine daily maintenance for properties, including but not limited to plumbing, minor electrical and minor HVAC repairs
• Perform general repairs, including but not limited to carpentry, painting and grounds maintenance.
• Adjust, fix or replace all hardware on doors, cabinets, furniture, bathroom partitions, windows, etc.
• Replace stained or damaged ceilings, flooring, cove base, wall protection, ceramic tiles, etc.
• Change light bulbs, fixtures, ballasts, switches, receptacles, and reset circuit breakers
• Remove or relocate snow, de-iced grounds.
• Document all facility deficiencies through daily travels.

 Education Requirements

  • Minimum High school diploma/Equivalent

Admissions and Business Development Manager

Position Overview:

This position entails being a part of a management team and collaborating with all the departments. You must be an outstanding communicator able to resolve conflicts and issues. This role should have a deep respect for policies and procedures and can inspire that in others.

Resposibilities
• Oversee department staff and daily operations including, but not limited to, adequate staff/shift coverage. Proper completion of all admissions paperwork according to standards/policies/regulations, and staff performance evaluations.
• Manage bed flow for all levels of care that includes maintaining a healthy flow of admissions into the program, working to coordinate a system that aligns scheduled admission with anticipating discharges and/or current bed openings, and continued contact with those individuals that are on a wait list.
• Act as a liaison to agencies including, but not limited to, BHSI, CBH, FIR, Treatment Courts, federal, state, and/or local department of corrections, sheriff departments, and probation/parole offices.
• Must have clinical education, background, experience, and/or knowledge to aid in the decision making for referrals including presenting the case to operations, clinical, medical, and/or psychiatric staff for consults.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure consistent communication in the multidiscipline approach to treatment including, but not limited to, clinical treatment recommendations.
• Ensure that current intake process aligns with federal, state and /or local regulations, funding sources, and any accrediting bodies.
• Assist Director of Operations and/or Clinical Director with any additional assignments along with implementing any necessary changes.

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in behavioral health, public health, clinical profession, social work, and/or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years professional work experience with addictions, mental health, and co-occurring disorders.
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience with computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office and electronic medical/health records.
• Completion of ASAM Training and/or DDAP required trainings.
• Be able to function in a high volume and high stress environment.
