Job Overview
$16.80/hr for Entry Level. 2nd & 3rd shifts. Part-Time.
Full-Time positions available with at least one year of prior experience.
Salary commensurate with experience.
- Monitor & report clients’ behavior to the Director of Supervision and Shift Supervisor
- Administer urinalysis
- Comply with all DOC/ACA regulations
- Computer, written, and verbal skills are all required
Self Help Movement is a drug and alcohol treatment facility located in the Far Northeast section of Philadelphia. We are an all-male inpatient program, 17 years of age and older, consisting of three levels of treatment.

Job Overview
• Facilitate daily individual and group therapies, including family therapy as appropriate.
• Complete individual and group progress notes
• Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans.
• Communicate with insurance providers to advocate for residents.
• Complete discharge and aftercare plans, including collaboration with probation/parole, case managers, and others.
• Periodic evening and weekend hours
Education Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Counseling/Psychology from an accredited institution with specialization in addictions or related field
- Minimum one-year professional work experience in the field of addictions/recovery
- Working knowledge of 12 Step Recovery Program
- Excellent written, verbal, and computer skills

Food Services Assistant
Position Overview:
We currently have an opening for Food Services Assistant-Full-Time Position.
Resposibilities
• Assist in food preparation.
• Assist in serving food.
• Following stablished guidelines, recipes, and procedures for assigned areas.
• Following department policies and procedures
• Wrapping, labeling, and dating all food items and storing in designated area in an organized manner.
• Maintaining high levels of sanitation of all equipment adhering to department policies and procedures. Knowledge and use of proper sanitation and hygiene
• Maintaining clear communication channels and constructive, sensitive relationships with co-workers, supervisor, clients, and all SHM staff.
Education Requirements
• Minimum High school diploma/Equivalent.
